Why did you start your online business?


I started JuJu Marketing to bring back some of the ‘ethics’ to the word marketing. Marketing can get a pretty bad rap for green-washing and emotionalising things, but such marketing tactics just leave the audience confused and untrusting.
JuJu Marketing was created to help brands that are built around solving a social, ethical or environmental problem get their voice out, in an honorable way, which respects and promotes their brand values. Ultimately, using the power of marketing for good, to increase the impact of such brands.

How do you love to spend your time?

As a self-confessed marketing nerd, I spend a lot of my time trawling the Internet and reading the latest marketing tips, because that’s what I LOVE!

When I’m not doing that, I’m hanging out with my main-man and our dog, usually in our vegie garden. Or binge-watching Game Of Thrones (whilst scrawling through Pinterest).


What would you tell to someone who’s just starting their own online business?

GET HELP! (No, not the psychiatrist type – although your friends and family might think you need it!)

You don’t have to do it alone. Invest in a coach, track down a holistic health therapist, find an accountability partner and join some support groups (of the Facebook variety). Hire a graphic designer, bookkeeper, copywriter; whatever isn’t necessary for YOU to do, outsource it! Don’t get bogged down in working in your business, rather than on it!
